Thanks guys. Been working on her for 16 months now. Only a few little things left to fix.

What could be left to fix??

1. I am going to cover the area in front of the radiator all the way to the grill. I have one part done (center). Got the two outer sides to do.

2. Still got to fab the S/C tube to the hat.

3. A/C lost its charge.

4. One of the plastic door latch rod retainers broke (plastic).

5. Hidden antenna by Tune Trapper TT-1E is worthless.

6. Paint need a few touch ups from scratches.

7. Upgrade the front sway bar to 1".

8. Install hood springs (special lightweight for fiberglass hood).

9. Passenger door courtesy lamp switch is bad.

10. Install the rear seat support chrome pieces.

Little stuff. And adjustments.

I thought that the 600 and 725hp versions are all the same , but tuned for which version you ordered 600hp w/t warranty 725hp and your on your . own .The price is closer to 30k with tax. The stripes will be only 1 color which is Flat Black no mater what color your car is no exceptions. 10k non refundable deposit upfront ,10k during mods, 10k on completion. And in 30yrs from now who knows what all our car would be worth , my money will be on the Shelby(JMO).

I would like to think so but they are producing too many. The SS might retain there value but probably not. At the rate Ford and Chevy are going I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to up the ante each year. By 2020 you'll be able to buy a 700hp mustang naturally aspirated.

Not that this means anything but Kelly Blue Book already has the Cobra in the mid 60s.(used) I also think that GM is going to lose alot of customers if they produce anything with a 400hp camaro which is what the Corvette has for around 42k,  What would you rather own a Camaro or a Corvette for almost the same price?

Well, if I had a choice I'd own a new Camaro.  They put out 100+ vettes each day down in Bowling Green so you are bound to run across one, oh, about every 5 minutes   They may build a lot of new Camaros too, but it would be nice to have the first year model of its return.

The new Corvette has 430HP. (It is under rated, BTW.) Saleen helped develop the SC'd Camaro to produce 600HP. Yes, a new Corvette can be had for $42k. It is a bargain for this level of performance. The top of the line Camaro might approach this price level also. (The SC even more...)

Last years production of Corvettes can be found here: wwwbowlinggreenassemblyplant.com

I've got some great pics of a Saleen Mustang cut-a-way, but the files are too large! Can I send some of these to someone who can downsize the files? They really are pretty interesting to see. I'm a computer dunce!

More than 500 rwhp requires more rear tires. Except on the upper end. Then it is a Vette/Supra/Ferrari killer!
