Bottom line in my opinion, is that the price is simply what you pay...whether or not it's worth it is left to interpretation. If you wanted the fastest thing going, you could by a Honda and make it go fast. If you want exclusivity, you could buy a Ferrari Enzo. There's no right or wrong answer. If the buyer is happy, then it's worth it! Guys don't buy Ferrari's because they are the fastest thing on the street, and if you think that , you are mistaken. Exclusivity, Crafstmanship, Design, and the feeling you get driving it are what's important. You buy a car, because you like it, not because it will appreciate in value, or because you can beat someone at a stop light. A Geo with 600 HP is still a Geo...and a Ferrari that gets beat by a Civic, is still a Ferrari. It's all personal taste...
67 mustang Coupe (Can't figure out how to resize photos) Pics coming soon
+1 on that orangecrush...it irritates when people ask why would you pay this much for that car when you can pay less for this car and it is just as fast or faster! People buy cars for different reasons
^+1 good points. Not arguing with you. It just annoying with people talk like everyone should get one because its the best car of all time. Its what YOU like and I don't like it over the S281E. Just my opinion of course. As for the 28K that was my mistake. Thats the price for the 600hp model.
No doubt that is a nice looking snake. I think those rims look very nice with the mustang, just wondering how they would look on a saleen? is there anyone out there with some photoshop skills that can make that happen?

Ill tell you right now there is no way the 725 Hp version will go for less than 100k to start with. When the GT500 first came out, they were selling them for 85-88k at the ford dealership near me, I think there still going for 70k. So a 725 version would fetch over a 100k

I kinda of thought that there would need to be something other than the whipple going on that motor to get those HP numbers and run like a DD. Not to knock the whipple, great S/C, but we all know who can put those numbers in TS form. So I would not be surprised at all if the put another one on there, which I think we all know who that would be

I didn't mean to hi-jack this thread, but, yes it is the real thing. Only it is a 1967. It was NOT built by Unique Performance, but I used every single part they use. Down to the bolts. Except I upped them by using a T-trim Vortech, where they use an S trim. I used a polished hat, S/C and air intake. They use unpolished parts. I opted for the 22 gal fuel cell, Fast EFI (they use a carb), $2600 Be Cool radiator (they are still having overheating problems, I do not). It has a GPS Map, backup camera, DVD, CD, HD, Bluetooth. 400W Alpine amp. $1200 worth of sound and heat control. Much more...
