Hello all, I have a 1999 Mustang GT convertible.
Cervinis says there 2-piece tonneau cover will fit in your trunk.....I have tried and failed...I called them and they told me if I remove my back carpet panel in the trunk I will be able to store the tonneau cover in the trunk Has anyone gone thru this? My back carpet panel seems to be rivited and Im not sure I want to try to remove it. Ant suggestions? Thanks, John

I belive when you open the trunk look up to where the back cover connects to the top panel. There should be some plastic pin like things that connect the back panel to the body. Use a flat head screw driver to slowly and carefully remove them, then just tug and pull untill its out.
Works for me, however mine is a 2002 vert and that is where I installed my amps.
