Girls, girls, I'm surprised no one has given the suggestion of a "clothing optional" points system... As for the power vs looks.........everything counts. In my book you need to look the part and be able to back your $hitt up. My hats off to all the cars and no excuses, all are very nice and keep up the mods.. BTW, its nice to see the passion in the responses about who has what, stay proud.....OK I'm done, I'll go back to my section now...Hole....

I do thank everyone for their compliments I think all of our rides (us chicks) are nice and unique in thier own way. I have no hard feelings for anyone I didn't try or want this to become a pissing contest (never said my ride was better or faster than anyones, as there is always some faster). I know when my 7 year warranty is up in 5 years from now, its game on for more bigger performance mods just want to have the warranty for now on a car that is the first year of the S197 and spent a lot of money on. So I made it faster and added visual goodies too. As for my 1965 Mustang I am going to keep it original with its 289, hard work keeping them both in good shape , but well worth it. I plan on my 05 looking as good as my 65 does, years from now.

Usually when an engine is modified, especially with a supercharger, the warranty is void. I would like to know this for future use. Thanks Paid the extra for 7 years instead of having 5 years. Went with the Roush supercharger because Roush picks up the warranty and it does not void your Ford one, also had it installed by a Roush certified dealership. I know there are better superchargers out there with more power, but went with Roush because of the warranty and their quality of products. If it was an older Stang with no warranty then I probably would have went with different power adders . Thats whats awesome about yours, you went all out on performance and didn't have to even worry about all of the politics of a warranty. When the day comes when I don't have to worry about that anymore, then I can really start adding some goodies

Thats whats awesome about yours, you went all out on performance and didn't have to even worry about all of the politics of a warranty. When the day comes when I don't have to worry about that anymore, then I can really start adding some goodies The warranty really didn't matter to me on my 02GT. I mean, I decided to imporve nearly EVERYTHING on the car anyway. One of the guys at the shop recently said that the only thing stock on Janine's car are the seats.... Well, that is a little bit of an exaggeration, but I knew what he meant. Soon after purchase back in May 02 -- after driving 600 miles or so, I felt that there were too many areas in dire need of upgrade. So, I started doing research and built my Mustang the way I wanted it warranty notwithstanding. The Ford Rep tried hard to get me to pay for an extended 60,000 mile warranty for $2800. He said it would not be offered again in the future. But I rejected it when he said that if I so much as change the stereo system, or add an alarm system other than the choice of 3 that they offered to install themselves at their price, I would void out the warranty. When I rejected the alarm systems they offered, the rep got real upset and said that the car wouldn't last a night on the streets without protection. I said it wouldn't matter. I have insurance for that and besides, those chinsy alarms are installed by every Tom Dick and Harry in town. How hard could it be to get it? My first mod was a top of the line Viper alarm 3 days after purchase. Warranty voided. It marked the beginning of a long and expensive process of modification.

ORIGINAL: janine Who said anything about Photolabgirl's Mustang being slow? Certainly not me. At 450 HP, it should have very good thump. But I will say this: should you go up in power a little more and don't change your stock block internals: hyperthermetic pistions, cast crank and rods etc, that nice engine will be on the floor. I said it was slow, but I can. Its about 250 less hp at the crank than mine. Still a sweet looking ride and I was actually just giving my friend Andrew some ****, so lighten up people. Slow? Damn, you know that thing is at least 3 times as fast as my car.
