Default Exhaust Cutouts AND SLICKS! UPDATE VIDEO!!

Video NO EXHAUST!!!! PICS ADDED BELOW!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_IixxauPEU

Well my 2.5in exhaust cutouts FINALLY came in. I'm putting them on tonight. LAst time out at the track I trapped nearly 2 mph better in the 1/8, so I'm gonna try to imporve on that. They lose some low end torque, but I could DEF feel a difference up top. Especially when spraying.

These are the BFG radials I paid a whopping $20. I'm still not really sure what's the deal on these. They are in better shape that my MT's I paid $185, AND they are 16inch and lots more sidewall.

255/50/16.(26x10 FYI) Not bad. :steering:

This thread is worthless without a SOUNDCLIP!

But post one up when you get a chance. These aren't that popular of a mod on the New Edges.

If you were to hear a 4.6 w/ cams in person w/ cutouts, they would be VERY POPULAR! Its on my other computer. It'll be this afternoon b4 I get to it.

How exactly do you mount those, i mean wouldnt you need to cut a section out of your exhaust for those?

Hey Zach, I may have heard of these before... but its a pretty new thing to me. Whats the benefit of doing this? Is it mostly for just sound?

It is mostly for just sound. You really wont get any gain out of it. Maybe 2-3. But thats about the same as a CAI which everybody does too. If you can get electronic cout outs and flip the switch after the 3rd gear shift you may benifit from it.
