Actually I like the MRT look and the fact that they are hinged... yes, occasionally I even give he rear window a good scrubing! LOL! BTW... that "Invisible Glass" cleaner stuff is amazing!!!

im getting the mrt one, its satin black so i have to get the side louvers unpainted to match it :-(

Do you have a link for them? On my old GT I had hinged louvers too.....I loved them! Like you, I would clean the back glass off too. Is the MRT plastic?
I feel the louvers gives the car that '69 classic look as well as help save the interior from fading. Plus it helps keep the car cooler inside on hot sunny days.

Too each their own ... but I have seen several non-black cars with black 1/4 window louvers ... and it just doesn't look right to me ... body color all the way ...

yea i kno thats what i was told, but i'll have the bra in the front and the louvers and later the body stripes to match that of a boss 302 :-) and then the engine, once the warranty goes out the window lol

I agree those flush mount louvers lookgreat. I didnt really want louvers, until I just saw these. They look more like the original 1966 Mustang fastback louvers to me.

How hard to install ? Is there still some decent visibility, anybody have any pics from inside the car to show how they look from inside ???

yea i just saw that, it was at $379 from stang mods but it seems i missed the special by a few days lol

im curious how long it'll take for me to get it if i order it monday? side louvers are being shipped tuesday so i was hoping around the same time, as to not give the ups guy some much work lol

Nah, I prefer aluminum. Does yours hinge? At one time I saw them on Amazon for a great price.

i think only mrt's hinge, otherwise i would've gotten those which i saw on amazon for a good price

the rear louver from cervinis comes out less with its shippin than mrts, but i dunno if they are hinged or not, yet i like the satin look on mrts

Too bad the Astro Hammond ones don't hinge.....I see they are up again.....only 4 left!

I do like the contrast of the black on yellow!
I am thinking of the same contrast. Black on vista blue will look really good! But I'm stickin with the flush mount side louvers. I love that design and look! Rear louver will be the last think I consider.
I might just go with tinting only.

I like the design too.....makes the side look more like the '69 Mustang.
I wouldn't be too concerned about the blind spot......I don't use that window to look out of anyway. That's what my side mirrors are for, plus I have a blind spot mirror on my side mirrors. After driving around in a Truck all day longwith no back windows, you get used to using your side mirrors.

hey yea so to confirm cervinis has the same rear louver as mrt just comes out less with shipping......... the blind spot isnt as much since we have square mirrors compared to my gf's 03 with round mirrors, at least her's is convertible

Backed into the concrete wall at 65mph after being cut off by a speeder in the rain last thursday. Bounced me back across all three lanes of the highway and into the ditch. The photo is where the car stopped. Insurance man looked at it today and said 90% chance it would be written off.

ugh cervinis is in the same state as me 2+ hours away and im surprised as to why they havent responded to me today or shipped my item yet, i ordered it the night before, it should be at my house within a day since its only 2+ hours away lol
