Default Couple of kills

Went out for a cruise tonight, an unsuspecting 1969 SS 396 Chevelle decided to try his luck, it sounded like a mild big block, it ran like a mild big block, idle nice and lumpy, killed him by about 3 bus lengths.

Next up for a very breif burst, a Black '95 5.0 Mustang GT, he wound through traffic behind me, got to my right and I motioned him to go for it, he jumped on it and I blasted right by, there was a car up ahead about a block ahead so we backed off but had we kept going it would have been real bad for him. He got next to me again and gave me the thumbs up and kept going, before I could give him the thumbs up he was ahead and turning right. The car sounded fantastic.

Now this will sound strange but there are times I wish I could shut off the blower so these little runs can be a bit closer. Then I wake up...
I just know that some Terminator or LS1 or heck a Blue Skittle will line up next to me one night and kick my arse but good, thankfully Doodad and JD live so far away, it gives me time to get the rest of the goodies installed!!

Nice kills!! I'm surprised you have a 110mph trap running a 12.3...Did something happen towards the end of your run?
I have a 113.93 trap speed which is close enough to 114 to round it up. I would like it higher and I'm working on it.

Agreed, it was a fleeting thought anyway. If this stock 3V can handle it, there is an After-Cooler and CAI for the Vortech going on soon, along with LCA's and a new clutch and possibly new brakes. Damn this is going to cost me....

Well the good news is your probably making so much power things should start breaking.[:@] I just found out today the transmission problem I thought I was having was actually another blown clutch. I don't know how I wiped out a clutch rated for 500 foot pounds of torque. But I only had the damn thing 9 months. My machanic just smiles and says fast cars break......alot

So I guess you need to start a fund....I'm sure you have a retirement fund, college fund for your kids, and yes the clutch fund....In the never ending cycle of daily life .....9 months comes around quicker than you think......

Just kiddin' with ya

LOL, well it will sound retarded but I do have a special saving account just for broke parts. That way I dont have to listen to my wife complain quite as much.
