...everyone around here who has a new stang like that, puts those rims on. Ive seen way too many.
What are you talking about? Show me 1 picture of an S197 with 20" ADR Chrome Sterling 78's. And I suppose there are tons more than say, bullits, Foose Nitrous, AR Casinos, Steeda Ultralites, Chrome cobras... sheesh... whatever.
To everyone else... make no mistake, I love ALL of the sets of wheels I listed... but there is not way that there are "more" of mine out there than the ones I mentioned.

I just can't seem to like 20's on these new stangs. Makes it look too hoopty.
HOOPTY? are you serious? look at your car? WTF??? yours looks like a HOOPTY, DUB TOY!! those wheels you have are an insult to all the stangs that look great,... your teen friends my think thats "phat" or "tight" but its just plan dumb... people that live in glass houses should not throw rock!!!! keep your lame opinions to yourself if they are negative.
on a lighter note, I like those rims, but they do leave allot behind them to be shown,,,, if I had those I would have to paint the calipers, get new shocks, bradded brake lines and spend ogles of time washing the wheel wells... hmm I need something that looks that good and has less show space... What drop kit did you use?

Though I don't appreciate the hoopty comment, whatever, I asked for opinions and I got them. Thanks for sticking up Exforbrian, but let him think what he thinks... and I agre that I don't think that picture is actually of his car.
But regardless, thanks for the kind words. I want to paint the calipers, and I'll probably do some braided lines, but unfortunately I won't be able to do bigger discs as my 17's still need to go back on in the winter. And as for the drop kit... it's not dropped. Thats factory height. But thanks for THINKING it was dropped, makes me more comfortable in my decision not to drop it!
now see thats what im talking about, I like the way this car handles right out of the box, but I want that lowered stance, and I think with the right tire and wheel combo, it will look just as sweet and fill the wells just the same, so I need to look at 20s and keep the hight the same. thanks... you just saved me some money.. besides if you lower the damn thing then you have to worry about the curb stops and stuff like that..

He he he Damn bioches, ya got all fired up over my fine ass ride!! Werd up Yo!!
Anyway, no, that is not my car. It was a pic in an ebay add I just had to use.
As for mine, you saw it, but as of today I have DD Bullitts on it from American (love) Muscle. 18 x 9 in front with 255/45/18's, and 18x10 in the rear with 285/40/18's. Had to go with that staggered look and I think it turned out well. Will need to post a pic or three when the sun comes back out.
As for the 20's, I just can't get to liking them on these cars. But that is MY opinion and if YOU like them that is all that matters

what about 20s with bigger rubber, and no drop? do you think that would work?
I would have liked just a touch more rubber on mine, but they actually turned out better than I thought. And they are actually about 1-1.25" taller than stock, so that explains the fuller wheel well look. I'm still thinking about dropping it slightly though. 1" tops. But I tell ya what, she corners a hell of a lot better with them bad boys. 3" less sidewall, sure flattened our the curves. Very crisp and tight. Not sloppy and "floaty" anymore. Ya, thats right, I used the word floaty! WHAT! LOL
I dropped the 95 with Maxspeed springs, and it rides like a log wagon, and it bottoms out on everything, and it is just screwed up, I know it corners better, but I dont think I want to do that to the 2007 GT... I think she drives great, and corners great, so I think I will do the tire and wheel upgrade, and then work on the sway bars and new struts.. and see where that leaves me.
6605stang, what say you? Who you got that from, Bill O'Reilly? Hahaha. Your Mustang looks wonderful, and Im a man of great taste. The only thing is, in the second picture it seems as if your rear wheels have a NEGATIVE CAMBER, might just be the picture. Anyway your post gave me lots of idea's on my wheel purchase. Ive been for days trying to make my mind up on what size rims to buy and if I should buy staggerd or non-staggerd. I like your 20's but here in Hampton Roads Virginia, the roads arent so 20's friendly. So im ghonna buy me some 19's with a little more rubber for rim protection. I was also thinking of lowering it, but after seeing your beautiful pics, Im ghonna keep it stock as well. GREAT LOOKING MUSTANG......

A million thanks man! Glad I could help you in your decision. I actually REALLY wanted to go with 19's too but the rubber was just too expensive! Not enough options out there for my picky ass and way too high of a price... not that my rubber was cheap... but closer to what I call "reasonable". I'll check the camber issue you talked about, but I've been assured it's within acceptable range.
Thanks again for the kind words!... and unfortunately, I can't credit O'Reilly for my choice of words... that just how I roll...
