I payed around 54,000 for mine, When i went to the dealer they called some other ford dealers trying to get me a good deal and the color i liked which was blue. They happened to run across 2 in florida at A ford dealership so i had to pay a little extra to get it shipped up, The guys at the dealership were i went to said that they produce them in doubles or sometihing like that meaning they produce the car in the same color twice i got #18 also # 19 is blue as well.(only got one though)

But thats just because they just came out i think they will go down in price over the years to come. And mines not supercharged so!!

You can't look at it from a '20 grand better' viewpoint. If that was the case then you would by a used foxbody and mod it. But is an S281sc worth 20k more? It will depreciate less than a gt, so if you buy one right it would be worth it. For 20k more you're getting a VERY limited production sportscar, with a warranty, bumper to bumper, on a 400 hp car. It is really an apples-to-oranges comparison. There is something to be said about buying a car that is 'ready to go', mod wise vs modding your gt. Mods mean downtime, which is no fun. One thing people forget is that if you take an 05 gt and put 15k into mods on the car, it might look and perform at the Saleen's level or above, but a lot of that $ is lost forever in resale value. You'll be lucky to get back half that 15k when you sell it. With the Saleen, you would get back a lot more of that $ on resale.

Yeah its definatly worth that... its faster, better looking, handles better and stops on a dime not too mention resale value.
