hi im new here and have a o7 mutang and was wondering what could i do to get the most horsepower out of my 4.0 for a thousand bucks any help would be great.
Congradulations on the Stang!..............SLP makes a 330HP performance pac for the 07 which i believe includes an axle-back loudmouth exhaust, cold air intake, and diablo sport tuner.....i think its around $1,100........good luck
Zac, Congrats first of all. Second, the best thing you can do that will give you the most, is get a Tune from Roush, runs about 500 bucks or so, however you will need to use premium gas after you tune your car, that will give you about 30 HP, and with the remaining cash, get intake and get a new pulley kit. Intake will get you no more then 10 HP and the pulley will give you about 15 or so. Aftermath, you will get about 60 HP. SLP offers an exhaust, if you care about sound, go for it. It will only give you MAX 15 HP at the crank. My roush exhaust gave me nearly 30, best on the market, at least performance wise. Plus, only buy Roush if you care about your warrantly. Ford only warranties Roush, as they are partners. Otherwise, whatever you do the everything but the engine, each part will be voided. If you touch the Engine, your entire warranty is history.
