Default aftermarket vacuum advance adjust

Have installed a pro-comp HEI ignition on my 67 coupe. Changing nothing else, this change FINALLY got a decent idle... lost a bit on high end, and want to know which way to turn the screw in the vacuum cannister to increase the advance and get the power back when required... already lost the darn instructions...

clockwise = requires lessvacuum to advance, counterclockwise = more vacuumvacuum to advance. I don't believe it changes the total vacuum advance, just when it activates. When I checked mine a few weeks back, I recall aprox 4 PSI min and 10 PSI max before the distr would advance. used a vacuum gun attached to the diaphram and removed the distr cap, watching the physical movement of the advance after each adj.

sorry, that's for a stock adjustable vacuum advance, I'm assuming it's similar.
