Im debating about getting different wheels as well for my black Saleen. Did you ever consider black wheels with a chrome lip? And I suggest getting your taillights done if your windows are tinted cuz it looks mean!!

I actually had some (Zennetti five) test fitted on there and they looked awesome....but im a chrome guy so i had to get them.

Amen to the "front bumper" thing.  They can cost over $1000 to replace (paint, etc).  But you can't drive around with a cracked bumper.  The "Rule of Cool" doesn't allow it.

You can either order the numbers from Saleen or Casey at Haney Motorsport, a site sponsor and great customer service.  You need to have your VIN number available so that they can insure the numbers are going on a legit Saleen.

yep. the paint shop will have to take your number off and then respray. when you get the new numbers they are printed separately and you'll have to line them up. take several pictures of the location of your numbers on the front bumper now before you get it resprayed. when you put the numbers back on, TAKE YOUR TIME! i suggest taping the backing together first to line them all up straight and then applying them all at once.

i did it twice on my car and got pretty close...but it's pretty hard to line them up exactly straight.

An important fyi/correction...

2006 was also affected by the front brake recall.  If your car is a 2005 or 2006 please make sure you investigate if you need to have your brake lines replaced.  This is a serious safety matter.

Sounds like a manufacturer defect. I have not seen or heard of this before. I would take it in to your local Saleen dealer to have it addressed.

Casey

He's got an SC (or at least the hood) but in one of his pictures it sure looks like he as the stock ford brakes up front.  I though all the SC's came with the Saleen Brake Upgrade
