Man I hate to here these problems I feel for you guys who spent the big dollars and get let down by Saleen and I had gotten my bad taste from Saleen if you ask me they dont care Period. I build fast pro street cars and I am no kid in age so instead of doing another chevy I fell in love with the Saleen body and started doing research starting with Saleen in cali and they suck to deal with so I made a deal with a ford dealershipMAROONE or BETTER YET MORON FORD in florida to buy a new Saleen and what a crap box this brand new car was so I fly home with no car and really pissed off as the saying goes you want something right do it yourself.So off to my local dealer I go order a loaded mustang GT order everything from a saleen body kit to every piece from BMR they make then to currie for a ford 9 inch rear 35 spline gun drilled axles and locker then going to F&B transmission to stuff a overdive tsbe that handles 950 h-p to kenne bell for a 2.6H water to air intercooler to Livernois motorsport for a complete bottom end and ported heads kooks headers and free flow cats so what Iam trying to say you cant trust the factory or any of these aftermarket places to build a real car They pissed me off Big time I wont even get into the issues I am having with the saleen body kit that I just about finished like whats up with the rocker panels being so long and sticking into the back wheel opening ? THAT SUCKS! I cut trimmed and epoxyed mine to fit the wheel opening correct THANKS SALEEN and many other issues.Anyway I feel your pain and good luck

While I am feeling this rage I will finish my thoughts on this. What dealer even gives a flying SHI_ to even fix your Speciality car correct like they care its just another car to them its just a sad thing to spend so much money get nothing and nobody cares the same goes for a corvette ZO6 car or a viper the dealers will fix them correct Not in this life time so your forced to pay out of pocket if your lucky enough to find a guy thats smart and fussy to be into your ride.The good side to all of this is sites like this one there is plenty of info here to understand and sometimes fix your own car Anyway let me stop writing before you guys think I am out of my mind GOOD LUCK
dont care anymore car is poorely built iam not gone waste my time explaining all the issues they have we all know and are on the same boat .A company that has a sticker emblem on the steering wheel thats covers the ford one half ass cant built a reliable car and if 3m ever goes out of business so will saleen .The whrere good before they got big and production got bigger but now its all juck to me everything on that car put together is worth not more then 10000 and the rest is proffit .Sad but true

+1,000,000! Poor punctuation and grammar in general is so hard to read. I usualy skip over it. But I did catch your comment about the steering wheel badge and 3M tape. I guess I am one of the few lucky ones. My car seems to be very well built - no issues with the fitment of the body kit and even the steering wheel badge is still holding up quite well.

SALEEN100, may of us have felt some of the frustration that you have, including me. However, it seems every single post from you is bashing Saleen. I don't understand how this is helping the rest of us, or you for that matter. We're here to comiserate when a member is frustrated or disappointed, but the hope is that we can all move on to more positive topics. Every one of your posts is a bash! I am sorry you have been through such difficulties with your car. But if all you can do is vent and berate, you are going to wear out your welcome here. We're on this forum because we LOVE the car. It's not perfect and many of us have been disappointed at times. But overall we're ENTHUSIASTS. If they can help you in any way, I'm sure many of the fantastic people on this forum will give all they have. Otherwise, perhaps it's time for you to move on.
(perhaps the Camaro forum would love to hear your tale of woe)
