Okay, okay.....

1.If he had $18K in the engine, he should have absolutely @ss-raped you. Maybe he did, and just toying w/ you, wasn't in it all the way, was a crappy driver, etc.

2. If he had $18K in the car, it could be entirely in paint, bodywork, interior for all we know, and have practically stock engine.

3. If he had a pair of 18G turbos, which is entirely possible, results sound about right, if he was running fairly low boost.

Either way, I say honorable death. Stock, those cars put up a hell of a fight, and w/ mods, they're pretty insane. There's a guy around here w/ a '91 300ZX TT w/ upgraded turbos, pushin 18 psi. His car leaves mine like I'm sittin still......
