Default death to a 300zx

hello guys so ill get right into the story. I totally underestimated this ricer lol. It had dual exhaust, came up on it a stoplight and we went for a second. after that we decided to go to a closed street and really run it. we went from a stop and i instantly put about 2 and a half cars on him and held it for a good 6-7 seconds until he walked by me. we pulled over and turns out this guy has a twin turbo setup and over 18 thousand dollars done to this nissan! i lost by about 3 cars but im very proud that my intake/tune gt gave him a run. too bad im auto though so anyway my first death and not afraid to say i lost to a faster car with mods more than half the price of my mustang. happy racing guys and someone hopefully kill one of these for me

18 Grand? Wow, and he couldn't do more then a few cars on a 300whp automagic sled? ... so sad...

No offense...

well he didnt go into detail on what exactly he did to the car with 18 thousand dollars, but he definetly had those twins under the hood. I was kinda shocked that he told me that, then when he asked me what i had alls i could say was i had an intake and tune

300zx's are no joke. There were 2 versions sold one with twin turbo's and one N/A. It is a powerful car either way and definitely look awesome. However unless he had some very serious appearance mods then there's no way he spent anywhere close to 18g's and only beat you by a few cars. A stock tt 300zx would beat a stang by more than that.

hmm how so boomer? while they are 13.8 stock quarter mile and 5.6 0-60 but believe me he didnt have any appearance mods. it was a very loud car however, and alot of chrome under the hood as well as the twins.
