Saturday, after driving back from the movies, I ran into this bad ass mustang, that was black with burgundy stripes, customer everything.  This stang was sweet.  He complimented me on my color after I told him what a bad ass ride he had.  He then floored it, and pulled away with incredible velocity.  Incredible mustang.  Super loud, and super fast.  if you are out there " Z killer," nice ride!

Now that's funny. It seems to me that the guys with that kind of vanity plate rarley have a car fast enough to back up the claim. Same goes for people with screen names that claim to "---killer" with very few exceptions. I really hate plates like that because unless your in a Top Fuel car, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMBODY FASTER. With a plate like that he better run in the 9's.

I'd like some kind of vanity plate just cause it'd get you some attention, always worth having someone look at your car etc..

but the flip side would be the dicks that run their moutsh because of a plate..

and you might even have to worry about the bastard that would vandalize your car just because they dont like the plate on it....

*my car is too slow to have anything like that. unless it said something like NPI Killer..... lol...

And a vanity plate will stick out in a cops mind as well.

The vanity plate is just like running your mouth.

I have to differentiate between running your mouth, and having a vanity plate.

To me a vanity plate is just like a little jab, or a playful poke at someone, or a particular car,, while running your mouth is more of a particular action against someone.....

see for yourself.. and tell me what you think about my vanity plate...

i think some are cool.  it depends on the car and the person i guess.  one time i saw a very modified fox with a liscense plate that said "i8az28" or something like that.  i always enjoy the ford vs. chevy stuff.  it is just good fun if you aren't a dick about it and respect both sides.

That's why I chose a vanity plate that makes no competition implications...........too much foot-to-mouth potential if you happen to get run up upon by some 9 second street monster.

On the flipside, I do enjoy blasting past the rednecks with the "piss on Ford" stickers on the back windows of their Z71s.

I'm getting one soon that will say stockish
It will fit my car becuase I cant' get it for a while and When I do get it my car will have a reuilt 302 bored to a 306 steeda19 cam injectors 90mm maf 70 mm tb and a 125 shot
And from the outside my car looks stock.
I am also putting my stock catback on and midpipe modified for longtubes with electric cutouts.

I cant wait and I already have half the $
So it will look and sometimes sound stock and most people think 94-98 stangs are slow

"V6 Swap"
"VTEC"

I'd like a rear quarter window sticker that just says 13.8 or something until I get faster.. there was a turbo'd GT the other day at the show that said

12 Second Club

I think it was on here, a guy with a S197 GT had "14 second club" in his rear window.  Makes lots of sense, I know

I thought shortly about getting a license plate frame jabbing at ricers just to get 'em going.  It would be fun for a while.  Maybe I'll get a set and just swap them out every once in a while

yeah, i'm going to get rid of my vanity plates and get a generic one from the state i think.  draws too much unwanted attention.  plus, i don't want people messin with my car in a parking lot or something.  mine says 'OH SHAT'

I was thinking of getting a license plate that says like 11 seconds or something and then letting slower cars beat me -

I dont think its so much the extra attention that I'm bothered about, but instead its the negative attention that perhaps someone would take it upon themselves to 'show me up' by keying my car, or slashing a tire or something.
