try and find a really small out of the way (shade tree mechanic) shop to do it
that or u could always buy all ur stuff pre fab and bolt it all together
i was just lucky that my local mechanic just got a pipe bender and could do my work, i think he did an excellent job also

ohh btw it sounds totally different today from when i picked it up, even tho my flows were already broken in they still needed time to get used to the additional flow and the sound has mellowed out a lot more then when i just got it, i made that vid today tho so its the best sound

What do you think a 02 mustang v6 with Mac lt headers, stock cats, off road h pipe and true dual flowmaster 40s would sound?

which sponsor I've looked at so many and they talk about front and rear converters is there anywhere I can find a single converter, so the length will go down so I can fit mac  long tube headers,  mac off road h pipe that fit long tube headers, and flowmaster 40s series true dual exhaust.

Now that you have the cats removed, what is the setup. O/R X or H pipe? With Flow 40's Original or Super?

I talked to Meineki today and they'll do it for $400 with parts and labor, or $320 if I provide the mufflers, but I'm not sure if I can get them very cheap. I'm going to try and find GT tailpipes, get some cheap Flow 40's and have them put on as a kit. One place's labor is only $70/hr and I heard it only takes an hour and a half to put on a kit..so I figure around $100 for labor, $80-$100 for pipes, and if the guy on Craigslist still has them...$50 for the Flowmasters. So that's a $250 exhaust system, and they will remove the cats.

Oo, but I heard that a crossover pipe doesn't make a difference in sound. I read that on a website and someone told me that over the phone. Because of the equal firing order or something. I guess it's like when when head fires it goes through (this is on an X pipe) uninterrupted by the next head being fired because its already through by the time the other one is fired. That's just what I'm guessing. How much did you end up paying each time, like the first time with cats on, and then getting the cats off.

i paid 295 for everything with cats
and 225 with everything to take them off and replace with a custom h pipe

i would highly suggest an h pipe if ur goin hi flo or catless, they really help with the sound just not with performance like on other motors, i had no mid before but that cause i had cats

Oh I see now. Should I get 2.25" or 2.5", I may end up using GT takeoffs if I can find them...but I really wanna put an M112 on my car since I have Metals III this year and one of the guys doing an M112 project is only 10 minutes from me and he's almost finished! I'm thinking 2.5" what's yours?

If im not mistanken X is the best way to go for horsepower and torque, but I've been driving around with my o/r for a few days and im not sure if its because noone cares in florida (no emmissions tests anyway) or because it just isnt ungodly loud, but cops still dont give me the time of day
