1. They say 3 days so the tint can mold to the window but I like to be careful and wait 4-5 days IN THE SUN.
2. I dont have the answer for this one.
3. My assumption would be after it cures to the window.
4.  Yes, you can still use your defroster works just the same.
5. Dont use windex to clean ur windows that contains ammonia which will hurt the tint. Use Stoner Invisible Glass on them.

From my experiences of several cars tinted:

1. At least 3 days, keep car in the sun (as v6kid07 said) to let it dry quicker
2. Not sure what mole skin is lol
3. I was told 30 days before cleaning them, and do use invisible glass its great.
4. Yes you can, but once your window is defrosted TURN IT OFF.  If you leave it on too long it will mess up the tint.

Should be fine, I've gone 3 before.  If you really want to to look good and not worry about anything, leave em up as long as you can (4-5 days).  If you roll them down before the tint and glue has time to cure, then I would imagine it would move on you or become a mess; not sure never tried it haha.

I installed my moleskin the day after I got the windows tinted.  Just follow the directions, but don't lower the windows, you won't have a problem at all.

I was wanting to get my windows tinted in my mustang. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the frosted tint. I call it frosted tint but i don't really know if that is the real name for it. It is the tint that fades from the reflective tint to black. I have heard good and bads things about it. Has anyone tried it out? It is pretty pricey so i don't want to get it if i am not going to like it....any suggestions?

I think its a little "ricey" IMHO, but to each his own this is America.

I like either black, or all reflective.  I've seen some cars done with reflective/mirror and around the edges and the trim it just looks too contrasting.. I think black ties it in all nice and clean.

The safer bet is to go with black. What % do you have on your GT? And about how much did it cost you and what all was tinted?

I went with 5% all around and a window strip.  Ran about $100.  I wouldn't recommend that dark for a daily driver, unless you drive with your windows down.  Its DARK.    20% is what I do in my other cars and its not too dark yet is quite noticable.  Of course, different states have different laws but here in Florida tint is commonplace.

5%, wow that is dark. I live in Indiana and i think the legal limit is 30-35. If you got yours for $100 that is really good because up here it is anywhere from $150 up...that is at least where i live. (Out in the middle of nowhere). I was thinking about 20%....i want it just dark enough for people not to see in but yet i can still see out okay. How did you go about tinting the front. I know it is illegal to tint the windsheild but some places up here tint a strip across the top. I personally didn't think it looked all that great because it didn't fade or anything.

I think you would be happy with 20%.  Just double check with the shop and make sure they are actually using 20%.  Sometimes what they call 20% is 22% in the back, and 36% on the front windows.  Chances are you may have to pay cash and their will be no warranty if its below the legal limit.

The strip doesn't look bad, it blends in well with the rest of the car and the blackish border around the perimeter of the windshield.  This is the only pic I have uploaded that kinda shows the front to give you an idea:

Now if you went all mirror on your car it may not look bad b/c your color is close to grey/silver and I think that would be the only color I would do that with.  Check cardomain.com for some cars of your color and what people did with their tint to see what you like the best.  Before I do anything to my cars I always try to compare it to others to get a visual.

Yup, just follow the directions with the exception of lowering the windows.  You obviously need to be a little more careful to not hit the inside on the window with anything, but I had no problems.
