I still don't know why you don't want EFI. Carbs are just a brand new set of pains and potential problems. At least with EFI you can just plug your car into a computer and be told the problem.

ORIGINAL: xX98StallionXx Yeah, but with a carbbed engine a bunch of your friends and you can go into your garage one weekend and work on your car and get 100hp out of your engine yourself, with EFI you have to sit there and program this and unplugg rewire this... its just too confusing.. Believe me if i could get a 99-04 Mustang GT or 1994-2003 Camaro 5.7L I would and not worry about modding too much, I mean the camaro is already faster than hell... I wouldnt really need to mod em. For me tho muscle cars are just more appealing and with the right combination of components, interior/exterior dress and sound they are attention getters, with the late model mustang/camaro its like... wow there goes another GT... Its not a big deal. But when I see the 1971 Dodge Charger with its lime greenish color and its big blower that lives around me, it turns heads... Thats what i want lol. The money you spend repairing an older carbed car could be money you spend modifying an SN-95, New Edge, or Trans Am (I don't like Camaro's).

ORIGINAL: xX98StallionXx That depends on the condition of the car, and im keeping my eye out and i know what to look for because ive done nothing but research. Trans am are in the search, but their basically the same car lol. If you can get your limit up to 8,000 - 12,000 you can get a nice Edge GT or even 99 or 01 Cobra.

ever thought about a 442? They're pretty decent muscle cars, and can be cheaper bc they're a little less known.

You can find 1984-1996 Corvettes in nice shape for 6-8K. And with some mods these things can really get up and go. stay away from the 84 model though.

ORIGINAL: xX98StallionXx Oh yeah, im lookin dont worry, but a 442 has what a 454 in it? those are really hard to find, even the clones cost a pretty penny. As for a crotch rocket, knowing me id fall off and kill myself.... althought it would be fun lol. Im looking at late model GTs and Z28s, kuz unless i make up for what i lost, i wont be getting a late model muscle car. I can afford to buy one right now, but i wouldnt have enough money to pay for the opening insurance rate... If they were to just charge me the monthly rate right off the bat id have a "muscle car" and be driving it by now.. no 442s have a 3XX or something. cant quite think of the number at the curent moment 442 = 4 barrel, 4 speed, dual(2) exhaust
