I have seen pics before. But honestly, I would be embarassed to pull up somewhere and open Lambo doors.....unless of course I was driving a Lamborghini.

I have seen pics before. But honestly, I would be embarassed to pull up somewhere and open Lambo doors.....unless of course I was driving a Lamborghini.
Saw a Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren today(you now, the $400,000 super car) and it has the "scissor style" doors, which, because the Lamborghini Countach popularized the look have been labelled "Lambo doors"ever since. Although the Lamborghini's and other exotics that utilize these style of doors pretty much just lift up toopen, when "regular" cars are converted to these doors, you must open the door slightly(as a normal door) and then lift up(argh!). A friend at work used to own a GMC Yukon Denali and had these dumb things put on, I swear, the first time I rode in his truck, I nearly pulled the door off(he forgot to mention he had done the Lambo door thing). Total pain in the butt.
The fellows at hardcoremustangs.com have two S197s with the Lambo door conversion, maybe there's pics on their website.[:'(]
