hey there my new. friends im from new orleans just found this site unfortunately due to problems im having with my 05 stang i ve had since nov 04 no real problems till now but its a rough 1 im experiencing very rough running and engine light coming on then flashing if any 1 has had similar problem please holla back i drove to hammond 1 night it ran fine i stopped at the airport rd chevron filled up then went a few miles to my girlfriends house then the next morning we drove a couple of blocks and the problems began it started sputtering and the light came on im baffled the scanner at autozone indicated the engine was misfiring but didnt say why i already knew that lol [align=right]

its got 82k mi thanx to that bi!$h katrina im in the process of removing the tank to flush it and changing plugs and wires the reason i suspect vandalism is that was the first time i stayed the nite at the girls house rite after she jus broke up with her x and thanx to ford for no lockin fuel door or cap thanx for the help ill keep you posted when im done and ill put a pic of my car as soon as i get a chance to

well i took the tank down cleaned it out didnt notice any foriegn substance the filter was dark changed it out and now that its back together it runs even worse it only runs now idling and rough at that thanx for any help yall can offer

it could be flooded. with the fuel line hooked up, start it with the pedal floored, this will shut off the injectors. see if it starts that way. if it does start, keep it floored till it dies, then try starting it again. if it still won't run normally, change the plugs.

brought it to the dealer now the news is low compression in the 3 ,6 cylinders they want to take the top of the engine down to see if its the valves or somthing else in the top of the motor they are convinced the problem is in the top but then the service guy also said it may be a broke crankshaft isnt that in the bottom???? what would yall do from here
