Exhaust with PH Turbo
I spoke with Mike today over at powerhouse 411 about exhausts with the pipeline turbo kit. They basically put together a 2.5" dual kit, with ford midpipe and GT takeoff mufflers. They're also working on a 3" single setup. I was wondering if I wanted to go a more custom route, should I look at exhausts with similar measurements? Should I just look for something that breathes well or does it really matter that much for the turbo? I'd like to get it all done at once, even though it's not necessary. I'd rather not have to keep paying for new tunes!
Thanks for the advice. I should have the kit installed in two weeks. It takes a week to get the parts together, and a day for install, another for tuning. I got quoted at $1275 for install and dynotune for anyone that's interested in doing this in the future. The shop I went to is very upscale, so I expected a higher quote but I'm very happy with that number.
