You've got him either way. If it is a n/a SS, you'll run circles around him.

Shut up about the election and flip a coin! It's quicker and will produce the same result.

It's a 2.0 SS
I've been watching Cobalts being blown away all day on youtube, is it an actual supercharger? Because 205 horses supercharged seems pretty mediocre.

Oh, and some newb questions...
1. How can I tell if my 'stang is DOHC or SOHC?
2. When I do race him, should I throttle it and burn out, or slower increase throttle?

your car is sohc

it depends on whatever works for your car, when I first got my car I could launch my car at 1500 and only get a squeal, now I wont get traction anymore. Try to hold your brakes and rev the car up to like 1500 and then let go.

you should win man be sure to post results

Not trying to be rude, but if you even have to ask these questions, than your probably gonna lose. The Cobalt SS/SC can run mid 14's stock and your car is probably around 14.4-14.5. If you have a GT, from any year, than you have a SOHC, and once its time to take off, release the brake and punch the gas, you wont spin the tires that much if any.

Nah not rude at all, I appreciate it when people are to the point.
Well this is my first car with any power, my old car was a Plymouth Neon four banger with 130 horses(it was totalled in a 24mph collision).
Thats' why I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the sport, if only I had spent less time in the gym and more under the hood of my car.

You have yourself a very nice ride in you GT. Just so you know though, there are some cars that your gonna get beat by and then your gonna ask yourself how. A stock auto GT usually runs 14.3-14.6 on avg in the 1/4 mile. If you plan to mod the car and keep it awhile, get some 4.10 gears, it will really make a difference in how your car feels and moves.
