interesting...i read an interview with bob lutz a while back that specifically said that there was NO intention of bringing back the firebird.

That's what I'd heard many times as well........the GTO would return, and there were no plans for a new Firebird. But from the sound of this new article, it looks like they may keep their options open. We'll see what happens.
