Make certain you get springs for a vert.....
This is very important, because the spring rates are different than for a coupe.

Eibach sells a separate kit for the vert.

H&R! too many complaints about eibach springs unless you go with the sportlines. do a quick search and you'll see all the sagging and uneven comments about eibach.

Does H&R make a set specifically for the vert though?

they must, when i ordered my supersports they asked if it was a vert or that other enclosed one [8D]so i got the ones for my vert. just make sure you specify which ones you want. you can't go wrong with H&R!

the steeda sportlines are terrific on the vert as well.. car sits really nice IMO and ride is good

It depends if you want it tight enough to race or if you want a bit more of a comfortable ride.

My first mod was 20" wheels and tires. The low profile tires made the ride stiffer because there is not as much spring in the tires. Then I wanted to lower the car but I didn't want to give up any more of the comfortable ride. I'm not racing so comfort is an issue and I didn't want to feel like I was driving a skateboard. I browsed the various forums and received some advise. I ended up going for the Steeda "Ultra Light" Lowering Springs with Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Shocks and Struts. This lowered the front by 1" and the rear by 1 1/2". At the same time, I added a Steeda Strut Tower Brace and a Steeda G-Trac Brace.

Well, the results were fabulous!! In my opinion, the car looks far better lowered. I don't seem to have lost any more of the comfort in my ride and the car handles remarkably better. It sits straight in the corners with no body roll and it stays down while in corners over a bit of rough road - no more front end shifting to the left or right on bumpy corners.

The Shocks & Struts are easily adjusted and can be tightened up at the trackfor those who want to do a few laps. Then back to a softer ride once your done.

The Tokico D-Spec are pricy but, they did what I wanted them to do so it was well worth it for me.
