Default Ford Crate Motor and Toploader 4 Speed

I am considering placing either a 347 crate motor or a 351W/392W crate motor in my 68 mustang. Car currently has orginal 4 speed with mechanical linkages and 302. Will the bell housing bolt pattern mate to Ford's newer production blocks? Is there any interference issues with the clutch linkages if a 351W style block is used? Recommendations?

Thanks for any input.

I'd go with the 351

302 and 351 share the same bolt pattern for all years I think.
Not too sure if the clutch linkage somehow attaches to the block or if another part is required...
