Oh, and if you have a Miata and you get rear-ended you won't be walking right for weeks.

Miatas can be quick, but unless your Asian or a big fat guy with a Hawaiian  shirt, you will look gay...thats just they way it goes.  But they are a very nice roadster.  Fcuk a VW.  If you want a different choice in cars good for you.  Im pretty sure my next car won't be a stang

+1, i wont be buyin a stang for my next car.

wow. do any of you actually research the cars you recommend? an older Rx-7...have fun fixing stuff. a CRX? have fun living if you get in an accident.

I said if I were to get a compact car. As in, a two seater. I SERIOUSLY doubt a miata will hold up better physical wise then a crx or an rx7. The crx is probably more reliable then the 2 but the rx7 is better looking.

A compact isnt a two seater, a compact is a car smaller than a midsize but larger than a subcompact. Mustangs are compact cars...

subaru used to be know as a lesbian car and a miata is the gay car whatever its just oppinions and dislike

i say go for the VW thats what i would do/may do
miatas are light and can be made fast
crx's are also light and can be made fast
dont get a RX7 unless u know how to work on a rotary their is few mechanincs that know how to work on them and most the time when something goes wrong on them it goes horribly wrong and u end up spending thousands just to get it running again
SRT-4 i personaly hate neons but the srt-4's are nice and are fast
and of coarse a WRX, STI, or a EVO and i personaly have only seen a few fixed up but the legasy is a great alternative to the WRX if u get the spec B it is the same thing as a STI just has a different body that looks better and has a great aftermarket beings it is pretty much the same thing as a STI

my friend has had nothing but nightmeres with his miata.  granted its older (early 90's), but its constantly breaking down and he rarely drives it.  he actually prefers my mustang over his car

i also like the legacy. and you are right comi, about the miata not faring any better than a CRX in an accident. yea subarus used to be known as hippy cars..but so what? so did VWs (aka Vagina Wagons). who gives a f*ck. build whatever car you want. anything can be modded. and it is a "Boxer" engine. a "Boxster" is a mid-engined Porsche roadster, that badly needed to be turned into a coupe, the Cayman, which is one of the sexiest cars of all time.
