Default Custom plenum cover.

I ordered the V6 plenum cover with the optional 4.0 emblem so I could make it custom for my car and color. I had a member of another Mustang forum (Grabberorange.net) cut me some custom decals for it out of vinyl that is almost a 100% match for Grabber Orange. I am wondering if I should cover the center rib of the cover with the decal. He sent me a scrap piece to do this with. This is what it looks like for now:

It's been my experience that once you have something that looks good, tinkering with it some more seldom ends up making it look better.

OK, I decided to try the decal on the center rib. I can re-do it if I decide I want to. Here's pics of it with and without:

I think it looks better without the stripe.

Where did you get the cover? Does your hood quilt rub on it?

I see only one comment on your question of stripe or not -- and I have to go the other way. I like the stripe better.
The cover looks great on your car by the way.

I 'd probably keep it without the stripes to keep it from being too over the top, but I'm sure it'd look good with them. Basically, you can't go wrong.
