does anybody know anything about putting a 351 in a 84 svo
its an svo block with matching heads
just to keep it all svo and all

its an aftermarket svo racing block
svo just means special vehicle operations

I didnt know they made those. You can put 351's in fox bodys no problem

ya the link i sent you sais teh svo block can handle 1300+ hp
but they are hard as hell to find unless u got 20 grand to dump on a crate engine

So you want to ruin a well balanced, rare fox body mustang, an SVO, by putting a V8 in it?

If you want a 351 in your car, sell your car, buy a foxbody, and transplant. You'll have some money for other parts aswell

but that would be a waist of a motor swap i wanna be able to get the the other end of the 1/4 mile before they wanna stats the next set of cars
dont wanna be in the way
and if i wanna do the 2.3Lswap i gotta redo the entire car
and undoo all the work i've been doing to make it a drag car

The only think they should have changed is the wiring and the trans (engine to duh) thats all they should have changed, but you should give the car a little more life. If you want a V8 in an SVO, I would say no small then a 460 in it
