SSP refers to the Special Service Package. The Police Mustangs from 1983 to 1993 had it in them. It's a package thatadds heavy duty parts to the stang. The stang in my sig is a retired unmarked Florida Highway Patrol stang. Check the DSO for 6-digits and their are two buck tags behind the drivers headlight on the police mustangs. Most of the police mustangs are also coupes. I hope this helps you ibayter.

As far as I know, and in the case of my SSP, most of them had manual transmissions. They also usually weren't power. The government would buy them with manual windows and locks to save money. I would like to see the tags in the engine bay though. You never know.
