Small world, Spring Hill as well here =P
Small world for sure, I'll be looking for your car now. Mine is easy to spot, look for the "rescue22" decal on the back window, and the "RESQ 22" Licence plate on the back.

Cool, good luck with standards. It's a pretty good career choice with a great schedule and even better retirement (if it's State retirement).

If the car is just dusty then a quick once over with the California Duster works well.
If she's just a little dirty (ran through a puddle lets say) then a quick bed bath can be done (damp sponge to lift off the dirt & a good chamois), 30 minutes or so.
For a proper wash down then it's just clean, warm, water the california water blade + chamois to dry & a good wax - I'm using Meguiars Nxt Generation wax - and of course the wheels as well. All told thats about 2-3 hours for me to be happy with my work, longer if I'm cleaning the interior (add another hour), longer still if I'm detailing the engine bay (another hour). Am I just really sad or is everyone like this with their vehicle?

if your taking that much time on your own car thats fine but if ur in the detailingbusiness that is a little slow. I can have a car done inside and out in 1 1/2 - 2 hours
I take it a a chrysler dealer ship where my friend fish work s and i use to work he use to work for the big pricey car companys like Ferrari and porsche and he does my detailing now a professional at work :-p
hello im a detailer the reason it takes you a long time to wash your car is because its black. A black car is very hard to clean because it so dark that it shows evrything. Just make sure u use a soft mit instead of a brush and after you wash it wipe it down with a micro fiber

i wash my stang once a week, it takes me 2-3 hours. 1.-i rince it with "water only" 2.- then with soap 3.- then water again 4.- then wax } all suply by the carwash and never using the brosh (it scratches your paint) 5.- aply some "armorall gel waxxing" on surface and with a dry towel clean it(dry itself) 6.- then i go to the interior & clean all my dash & seats with "armorall interior cleaner" 7.- then i clean all my windows with windex & paper news 8.- then iclean my tires & rims. finally if my igine bay is too dusty i clean it , once every 2 months may be. BINGO!!!!! I`M DONE.
