so either as a side project or after im done with the windstar im thinking about making a front plate like the c5 vette has..see pic below....to cover up the ugly flat part of our stock front bumpers and make it more round with the bumper. you will still be able to see lines (not as much as the corvettes) but it wont be bad and if you really wanted you could get it filled and smoothed out then repainted. ill probably make them out of plexiglass or some kind of plastic and they will bolt through the back of the bumper.  ill make one first and see how it goes on my car and if it works out how many of you guys would want to buy one?

That's a pretty good idea, I plan to actually mold mine out completely, unless I end up going with the cobra bumper, which I don't think has the cutout. It would be nice to have the option though either way.

Well if your going to try to mass produce this for mustang owners, you would have to come up with some sort of "retarded down" way of average joes to be able to put it on their car with out having to remove the bumper.

Either way, its a good idea. [sm=smiley20.gif]

"Retarted down", that's awesome, lol.

I'd get one. I was thinking going Cobra bumper but I decided against it. So if I don't flatten it out completely, I'd get one. I might just have the body shop at work do mine, though.

yea i was thinking about that.  i could be like Roush and just slap some molding adhesive on the back[&:].
