anyone ever rent a garage to work on their car? i need a place for about 1-2 months where i can pull my engine to rebuild it as well as a bunch of other stuff. i checked craigs list, nothing in my area. is there somewhere else i should look? junkyards maybe?

What about a storage unit? I've always made do with what I had, but whenever I lived in an apartment it was always at a buddies house getting worked on.

I dont think youll find a garage at a junkyard, but you could get one of those huge party tents and put that up. They have sides and are safe for all weather. If it was only for 2 months, it could work well. They are different sizes, but maybe 15 long by 10 wide would be good.

tent would be nice, they have some that even zip up to keep trash and dirt out

Yeah, thats the type Im talking about. Some are made of really thick plastic too, so they arent bothered by any weather and can take up to like 50mph winds. They are pretty sturdy.

def get a full closure one and not like a carport thing, so u dont accidentaly get sand in the engine

yea but then i would have to get a permit at a campground to pitch my tent...hehehe. i live in an apt., tents are not going to work. but that is another option. thanks.

ahh, get one of those storage sheds then, like at those storage buidings
