I left work early this morning and got stuck behind this slow a$$hole from another state. After I passed him I heard a pop under the dash. I lost acceleration, got easy shifts(like butter) and reverse sounded bad. When I left work it felt like someone jammed on the brakes and the started jerking like crazy at a good speed. I ripped the wheel to the first parking lot I could see, hit a big curb, cut the tire and smashed the rim. Once I slowed down the engine smelt like it was on fire, the light started flashing and then it just choked itself out. I always had the clutch rattle everyone talks about but today it was the worse ever. What ever happened in the bellhousing really f*uked the car up. Now I definitely need a new clutch, probably the flywheel to once i see the damage and Im also putting the piece of $h*t T5 to the curb. I really thinking of going automatic. Now I can either take it to the shop AGAIN where they will obviously screw me over or do it myself.

If you do much racing then an auto with a shift kit & a 2800 stall converter is the way to go. Just be sure to get an oil cooler for the trany since your radiator isn't set up for an auto.
