So when you getting the 'maro. And have you heard any news about it? My buddy's bro's best friend works for GM and he hinted they may be coming out with a mid engine AWD for the new camaro.

My buddy's bro's best friend works for GM and he hinted they may be coming out with a mid engine AWD for the new camaro. it will be a long time, they arent commin out for sale till early 09. that and i wont get one right away, i will have to wait a little bit. ive still got a few plans for this car but nothing HUGE. id rather start saving a little now. i dont think there is any way at all they would do that to the camaro since they have a platform designed and it can be used on multiple cars. having to ditch the zeta platform and creating an all new one would be very expensive and would make the car cost almost as much as a vette or more. they want it to be in the same price range as the stang so there is no way they will do that.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, and also it as a certain "look," that of a rear wheel drive muscle car, not an all wheel drive with a mid-engine design. But the new GT-500s are still up there around the range's of vette's and all of the higher end sport cars, so you never know.
