Life can get too boring to worry so much about fitting into everyone else's "standards of correct living".

Once I had a selfish person ask me one time....."you want people to think you are always trying to have a good time?"

I asked him...."Is that such a bad thing?"

BTW................You are only as old as you let your mindset become.  I think most of us would agree you are never **TOO OLD** to let loose and laugh and lay a little rubber down from time to time..............

I am 23 going on 60 these days. I just joined the workforce and I am starting to be infected with officeattitude and office life. However every nite on the drive back to home and every day on the drive to work I feel my age and act it too.

I chose a mustang because of the heritage and its symbolism. I saved up through high school and college and covered my 07gt (glad I waited), I have owned it for 2months now and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. My cars name is sasha btw.

In any case, you are as old as you allow yourself to be, on off days I am 50 and back to 23 every time I drive my car. Its like a time reset for me.

I have been looking at posibly picking up a mid 80's gt to give my baby some company and possibly build a track car.

So basically, you are still in your 20's and people are saying you should act your age?  From where I'm sitting, YOU ARE ACTING YOUR AGE!  You are young!

I'm 31 and I really don't feel any older each year.
I leased my car for 10 months, sold my house, paid the car off, bought another house and finally have money in the bank.

I'm in my 40's.  This is my third 'Stang.  It is an 07 Redfire GT manual trans.  It is a "pretty" color- so I've been told by numerous people.  Mostly men.  I'm female.

I was asked by an "older" man, in the parking lot of the grocery store, if I were having a mid-life crisis?  I told him I was too young for a mid-life crisis and no one is too old for a Mustang-he should try it.  He then told me it was pretty.

Even my 70ish mother giggled and said since I always loved cars I'd love driving it (she added I should drive slow).  She even looked up the color on the 'Net and bought me a leather purse to match.

Not a GT owner (yet, but it's on the 'short list' for the next go-round).  Life's too short to drive cars that you "put up with".

Fun to drive is more important than many people are willing to admit.  One of my criteria for car purchases involves being able to answer 'YES!" to the question of whether I expect to still enjoy driving [whatever car] one month after making the final payment.

I'll be 60 in about three months, and my wife will have turned 58 (shhhh!).  Neither of us is ready to get anything with automatic transmission, and I still drive exit ramps and down winding roads at least as enthusiastically as ever (and more briskly than most).

I’m 34.  We have a Honda Odyssey and Mustang GT.  The best of both worlds - practical and impractical.
