RE: Control Arm Bushings For '01 - 6/4/2007 8:44:38 PM    STANGSUSPENSION   Posts: 490 Joined: 5/2/2004 Status: offline For 79-04 Mustangs we recommend just getting new lower control arms, as opposed to getting new control arm bushings. If you got bushings alone, you'd still have to remove the control arms from the car, then machine out the original bushings, press the new bushings in...   What you're left with is a very weak, stamped steel control arm, with nice fresh bushings.  It is not the best situation. We recommend new control arms because you can simply swap them right in place of your stock arms, they come complete, with the bushings ready to go... and are much stronger! RE: Control Arm Bushings For '01 - 6/4/2007 9:50:52 PM    joshua029 Posts: 200 Joined: 3/22/2007 Status: offline alrighty mr. stangsuspension. i have a 95 gt that has this terrible squeek when i turn the wheels. its when im sitting still of moving. it does it with the power steering pump not turning so it cant be that and there is plenty of fluid. i thought it was the ball joint on one side but that didn't do it. the car has 175K miles on it, so do you think that i should just get a front suspension kit? or do you have any idea if that would fix the problem? thanks!
