I own two Mustangs one being a 94 Cobra and a 96 GT, well I like driving the GT since it gets more attention than my Cobra (flashy orange color) plus its an Automatic...When I floor it on the GT it feels faster than my Cobra, tho the Cobra is faster...Well anyways, my GT is stock so is my friend's 02 Sentra R V-Spec (6speed) except for air filter and Cold air Intake... His has a 2.5 dohc and mine has the 4.6 sohc.. Well he has always wanted to race my GT and I always refused, because i wasnt sure I could beat him...That ended this Sunday when we decided to take the cars into the back of the Street, it is a little longer than 1/4 mile long..So we got up on the little hill and decided that on the 3rd honk we would go...So on the 3r honk we took off...He had about 2 cars length advantage, that was becuase I had trouble hooking up..he kept that advantage like up to half way, then I started catching up, well the race ended by me having a little advantage over him...(sligthly advantage that we called it a tie)..I guess those Sentras 2.5 with a manual are petty quick, my friend told me he runs low 15's an average of 15.1..so am guessing thats what my GT (automatic)could be running at the track...So i migth take it this Friday....wish me luck
Sentra SE-Rs can be very quick little cars. Intake and exhaust are very restrictive stock on those. Intake, header, pulleys, and exhaust (including hi-flow cat) on that car does wonders. The older ones are still better though
My wife picked out a 03 SpecV. It's a fun little car. I only put a K&N on it, but it is zippy enough. It has more torque then HP and that is very rare in a 4cyl.
For a 4cyl, 4 door, it is great. Corners really well too.

Yeah I think they are nice... My friend's car has Racing seats and a bunch of stuff, it even has the Fast and the Furious Stickers on the sides...but hey I still beat him wit the GT (barley though) The only thing i dont like of them is um the rear end it looks weird

Those things are sweet, but the new ones look like crap. The six spoke wheels are alright, and the body is ok, but the nose, uuuhhh, the nose with that toothlike prong in the middle of the grill, it looks horrendous. They are still pretty quick.

When I owned my 02 Sentra GXE I knew all about the Sentra's. Stock w/ a good driver a Sentra SE-R Spec V which only comes in 6 spd will run a 15.3-15.0 1/4 mile. They are rated at 175 hp and 180 tq. At the wheels stock they put out about 146-149 whp. Yes the older Sentra's 91-94 2 dr. SE-R with the SR20DE runs about a 15-14.8 stock. The Spec's are decent cars and a good bang for the buck. You can get one new for about 17k fully loaded.
