Due to various reasons and miscommunications, the Motor Vehicle Administration of the State of Maryland has decided to suspend my liscense for 180 days.  Basically what happened was i got a ticket for turning right on red without stopping, meanwhile it was rainin hard, i was going 30 mph on a 40 mph road downhill into a right at a 45 degree angle, and when i hit the brakes (also the day after christmas so ice could have been a factor) i started to slide, i immediately let off the brakes and looked and decided to turn without stopping because no cars were coming and i decided that was a better decision than sliding straight through the intersection while holding down the brake pedal.  Well about 2 miles later.....i get pulled over by a cop who claims i was also speeding but did not have me on radar and i vehemently denied it.  So anyway i couldnt fight the ticket in court due to a family emergency and jus paid the fine.  Well this ticket set off a suspension, i went to my lawyer, he told me to appeal the ruling and wait for an appeal hearing.  while waitin for this notice of an appeal hearing i get a letter in the mail sayin my liscense has been suspended as of May 29th, so for now, my mustang sits out front, lonely, while i catch rides or walk everywhere i can until my lawyer can straighten things out.  Although i have the fear that my suspension will only be shortened not dropped....  I can only come up with three good things out of this situation........1. i can finally take my car to the dealer to have some work done, and to leave it there for awhile for them to figure out my thunking issue  (all you who have it, im sacrifing so we can eventually find a solution) a bit more.....2.  I can finally save some money to buy more mods, and take the time to install them.....3.  i wont be puttin my normal mileage on my car for a while......I miss her already........

6 months is a loooooooooong time. Hopefully it will be dropped or at least shortened.

That sucks man.

Doesn't make any sence either.

Rolling through a red light is a suspendable offence?

I can see drunk driving or wreckless endangerment, but not running a light.

Somebody just wanted to make an example of you.

Good luck with the appeal.

Start ordering parts!
