ORIGINAL: fordfanboy Here are the facts and dyno's for that car... http://mustanglife.tenmagazines.com/articles.asp?page=tenarticle&aid=3308 Remember that this power was made on C16. KB themselves will tell you it is only possible to be in the 600 range on pump gas. When you get in the big PSI range, octane becomes uber important with ANY kind of FI on ANY motor. 692rwhp is awfully close to 700rwhp(on Ca's 91 octane), a tune and some racing fuel and you're at 800rwhp, so what makes it seem the 800 is impossible to obtain? Besides, what F.I.'d car making over 700rwhp doesn't run racing fuel for added safety????? Actually no where on this thread did "pump" fuel come into the conversation and no claims about the 800rwhp being obtained on pump fuel were discussed. As to the prices of Vipers, we're talking "brand new" cars, not a demo or used example, for $55-65K, I'd rather have a "new" GT500 than a "used" Viper(besides Vipers and 'Vettes aren't my cup of tea, I'd consider a 911 Turbo-much better made and will retain it's value better and being F.I.'d will respond to mods more readily, hey, I'm dreaming here, okay? ).
