I'm still tossing around ideas for what to do in the front, go with CDT es-610's or a 3 way component set. I have never before seen 3 way component sets and was wondering what would be better for my convertible. i will have some sort of subwoofer (10" L5 right now) that i can hear a bit when the top is down. when it is up it is a nice volume and sound for the conditions. So for somewhere around $3-400 would you go with the ES-610 or a 3 way system (Eclipse, JL, some sort of custom setup??)

Good 3 way system. Heard they are a real plug and plug system, and they scream...

If I had $300, I would be all over these though...

I would say the first set I posted if you are looking for a 3 way system, DLS is great. If you want to save the dough and slightly more difficult installation do the ES 610's.

3 ways are great, but you can accomplish similar sq with a 2 way setup.
