Ok, so this has been a bad week for my baby.  Other than the gas smell/leak problem that has been going on, this one is really bad.  So I was getting gas tonight, and there was a car in front of me, and there is no way to go other than to back up and make a left to pull out.  There is a building behind me about 15-20 feet away.  I start to back up, and as I'm about 7 or 8 feet away getting ready to stop and put it into first to pull out, I hear a loud crunch.  Immediatly I think I've run over one of those concrete thingys that are always in front of parking spaces.  So I pull up, and I don't hear anything, or feel anything.  So when I get out to inspect, to my horror, I've backed into a mini steel pole that was directly behind me.  I know, I know, I'm a terrible driver and I should have paid more attention to my surroundings before I got into the car.  But this wasn't even the size of the regular poles, which are usually 3-4 feet high, this one was maybe a little over 2 feet, and looked like the top was cut off.  So I couldn't even see it out my rear view.

The bad part is, now my rear bumper is all but ruined and my tail light is cracked.  The tail light I'm not so worried about, because I see the used oem replacements are only around 40-50 dollars on ebay.  The bad thing is the rear bumper. And the small dent I've got in the rear panel just next to where the tail light and bumper connect to the body.  I can see paint chipping off now, and it's a nice size dent, maybe the size of a half a deck of cards, I'll take pictures tomorrow.  The dent, I can probably live with until I get some money to throw away, and the tail light I'd like to replace in the next couple weeks.  But the bumper is the real problem.  How much do those run for?  I only want a used one, but I know I'd want to get one in my color because I know how ridiculously expensive body shops are to paint a bumper.  So what am I looking at on average do you think on either the forums, ebay, pull-a-part junk yard, etc.?  I just need to know how much I'm going to need to start saving.

Oh, and if anyone knows of any good pull-a-part yards in southern california, please let me know.  Or if there are any good sites that will list such places.  I had one saved in my history before that had a search engine and everything, but I lost it when my computer died.....

I live in the San Fernando Valley.  I just checked Mapquest, and apparently I'm about 50 miles away from Ontario, so I guess I could try there.  Do you have a phone number or name for that junkyard?  And cominus, I was actually thinking that might not be a bad idea, since the guy I bought the car from had a dual exhaust on it already.  If I could find one for the same price as the regular one I'd definitely take it.  Hopefully I can find one soon, because my car looks terrible now......
