I was stopped at a redlight, and on old Honda Civic hatchback pulls up next to me and revs. So I rev back and he nods. When the light turned green he and I both launched. Up until then I had not seen my dad's truck stopped in the turning lane adjascent us. I wasn't even going  twenty yet...but he knew what was going on. So now he took my keys until July 10th (my ****ing birthday). This is going to be a long ass month of June.

ouch! You should have kept driving. Maybe if he saw you spank the hatch, he would let you keep it. OR, you should have kept driving.....forever.

I know it sucks that you can't drive it right now, but to a parent doing what you did showed irresponsibility and poor judgement, and in his eyes, you shouldn't have the car. I don't entirely blame him.

I have never heard of a non-brand name car....would that be like a Fred's Fun Wagon?

Thats a good point for both of us..... best for me cause I don't even pay for my gas yet, I make my rents fill it up, and when they fill it up (give me their card) I always put mid grade in :). But yea DayTripper540 save money for new mods so when you get it back you either have a new mod on your car or you are ready to put a new mod(s) in your car. It works out great in the end.....
