Default K&N airfilter for a 96?

i have a stock 96 3.8ltr rv6 mustang with sixteen thousand miles on it. i've hread a lot of great things about k&n airfilters and i was wondering if they were worth the money. is it true that they add 10-15hp? and will i feel/hear the difference right away?

You will not get 10-15HP from just a drop in filter, but it will give you more power. If you dont want to spend the money on a cold air intake, then get a K&N filter APAS.

woah woah woah, '96 with 16k miles? that's awesome!

k&n filter? just ordered one. i've heard they're awesome!

and "are they worth the money?" they're only like $40-$50 so heck yeah. but i doubt the filter alone will add 10-15 horses.

go to k&n's website, you can put in your make, model, and year and they will tell you the exact one you need.
