i recently purchased two sets of Infinity Kappa 572.5cf as well as Infinity Kappa 10.5t tweeters. my question is this.... i have an Alpine v12 240 watt 4-channel amp. now how do i run this? ill have 6 total speakers and only 4 channels. i was thinking that i would run the back speakers with just the 3-4 channels and then on the first two channels run both my 5x7s and my tweeters(do i do this by just simply running 2 wires in both terminals and then running 1 set of +/- to right side tweeter and the other wires to the right side door speaker?and the vice versa..... is that right? and what steps will i need to take to remove the mach 460 system? anyone with electronic know-how please help.

with the amp / speaker wiring if you've got 4 ohm speakers and 4 ohm tweeters running into the same 2 channels your gonna have to wire each side into either a 2 or 8 ohm load. This ohm load change will affect the power output of the amp, and your amp may or not be 2 ohm stable - you should check. as for the Mach460, you can simply bypass the amps and run your own there along with your new stereo. In all honesty, you would be better off getting a small amp for the tweeters unless your current amp can support a 2 ohm load

do you know if i have to pull the old speaker wires and disconnect the mach amps? and what exactly do you mean by "bypassing"? thanks
