Sidewayz had an idea to make a nice mustangforums video, like a nice members burnout type vid. I think that mixed with some racing and other things would make for something cool.

So, if you wanna be in the video:

Post your video (no music) - just straight from the video camera no editing. Once we get enough then the vid will be made. Post up your vid or email it to me. All the cool kids are doing it [8D]

Well when your making the video, go to settings and adjust the quality. Mine was only 3.0mb before I adjusted the quality and afterwards it came out only 7mb. What kind of camera did you get?

I just got one of those digital 8 cams for christmas.

Its a sony DCR TRV260

Its taking forever to put the vid onto my computer, only 15 secs, but its taking like 30 mins in that USB streaming mode.

Upgrade to Firewire and adaptor. It took me all of ten minutes to take the video off my camera, load into Pinnacle, put the clips into the timeline and make the movie AND to upload it to streamload.com and put it here. LOL

I have the Sony DCR-HC20 Handycam. :D

You know Joe, it's also cool to mix still shots in with the videos. Like pop a new pic up with every snare hit on the drums. I do it some times and it looks cool. I have pics of a step by step Dual exhaust install that would look cool in the mix.

They don't work Erik.

I was having that Codec problem too. They're MPEG-2 files. You need to have a DVD editing program installed in order to get the correct Codec.

Or save them and open them with Pinnicle, or Sonic My DVD. Something like that.

They're not that good anyway. Pretty raw, and I didn't upload everything. Just a little taste to hold you over.

So anyone know whats wrong with what Im doing on windows movie maker? When I import the video, it doesnt import sound too.....

well i made a vid doing donuts and a burnout attempt on ice (didnt go so well,lol) but the vid is blurry a bit on the computer. anyone have any ideas? it looks fine on the camcorder and on the tv but no good in windows movie maker, media player or real one player.[:@]

firewire would capture with better quality - its not your camera or your tape dude - its the quality that your transferring to your cpu or the quality your making the mpeg video in

Don't worry.... I think you can make it:eek: Besides, it gives people more time to get some videos of there ride.....like me! MD, I will have footage this weekend so hopefully you can add it to the video:D

i dont have a vid camera but my friend does.. we can take some clips of me doin a burnout and getting sideways if i knew how to post it:eek:

its partially done, as in all the videos have been compiled in the same format and put into editing... just havent added the music or worked the video into a good work yet. I've put it on the back burner... kinda forgot about it. It'll only take an hour to finish I just gotta motivate myself to do it. If you guys REALLY want it done I might can do it tonight... its just been a pain because its taken so long to get the video formatted right... I got stuff sent to me in .mov, pal, real player, .wmv, etc. at all different resolutions etc. been a bish to sort out.
