Default In light of my new found project idea

ok, so inlight of turning my '86 sixer into a one of one Saleen S-232 E, (E standing for Extreme) my main concern is getting it moving again.

note, this will only be a concern if the shop I know tries to screw me, or doesnt find a decent engine.... which hopefully wont happen

I know a split port motor can be had very easily and cheaply, I just dont know how to make one work in my car... I know that the engine will bolt up fine and fit without a hitch for the most part, I just dont know how tall those split ports are and if they fit under a stock fox hood... now the main problem would be making 21 year old equipment work with a 2-3 year old engine... I know the computer would be simple, route the wires and mount them, the fuel pump would need an upgrade, but then I would need to mess with the fuel lines, becuase I dont think that the splitports used a return line like in my 86... also, I wouldnt know where to wire all the sensors to and how to make sh!t work.

these are just ideas I have floating around my noggin.. any ideas you guys could throw at me would be great.

I have what appears to be a great idea,I just dont know some specific details on how to act on it all...

thanks...

and I'll have that rendering up as soon as I can
