how much power can a 289 make without stroking it?

well with a dual quad set up and big ass intake, worked heads, huge headers probably alot. then add a shot of NO2 and another 100-200 hp ontop of that. 289s are good little high windin motors

I would rather see a 302 roller cam motor built. It really wouldn't cost but a few hundred bucks more and they can take and do alot more if you ask me.

www.cobraautomotive.com they have 500hp 289 motors when you get to 500hp your testing the limits on a 289/302 block

ya like everyone said $$$=power

take drag cars......ya they have bigger engines but still. huge cams, huge intake, huge carb (beware birds and low flying planes) , single exhaust for each cylinder, nitrous, superchargers, high comp pistons, nitromethane injectors.....etc
