Default max power on stock internals

How much horsepower can a stock 5.0 internals handle.

The internals can out-last the block if the tune is right. If your planning on making enough power to crack a stock block, look into an aftermarket block and forged rotating assembly.

HOWEVER, Its is a known problem that press fit wrist pins will begin to gall up and seize around 400-450hp. So if you want to build up in a stock block, make sure you get a rotating assembly that uses full floating pins.

that may very well be a stock block. But I could guarantee that the interlans are lightweight or atleast balanced to death

I love turbos and I just would like to do it on the stock motor. From quick time turbos or something like that, they said they made 390 rwhp on stock motor at 9 or 10psi and was wondering how long the motor could last with that horsepower. I t wouldn't be ragged out, just when something fun came around to mess with. Thanks and ya'll got back quick

you could freshen up the bottom end with a new set of rings and bearings, and get it balanced while its apart... ong as you have a tune, you should be ok

100% stock shortblock like it came from Ford with well over 150k. That'sone of my best friends.

Edit: My bad. I just talked to him. It was a stock shortblock but he replaced the rod bolts with ARPs. And it was over 180k.
