The color is sonic blue.

I had a local grafix shop put on the stripes. They took the scoop off so they could lay them under the scoop. Then they did the scoop and put it back on. The whole job was $200 but they said if they would have known it was going to take one guy 8 hours to do it they would have charged double. The only bad thing about having it on the bumper is that I backed into a shopping cart and scraped the vinyl. I took it back and they only charged me $30 to replace the small section.

Haha.

The good thing about working at the store is that you can watch your car.

I'm dating a guy at work who sometimes does carts, and he's always watching over my car.

I wouldnt try ebay, cuz you dont know what kind of quality it is. I would look on google and search for some name brand stuff. Just dont do the bumper when you do the stripes cuz thats the only thing that makes them look tacky. I would also do 8'' stripes. But hey thats just my opinion

well i just got back from edmonton and went to a sign and decal shop in west edmonton mall. He had lots of colors, he gave me the roll of black (like my car) so i could put other colors up to it to see how they clashed. Hes got metallic copper and it looks damn good. i dont know how it would actually look on the car though. but it would be alot different. Also i liked the charcol grey against black.

its $6 per foot, which is 14" wide, so 12" x 14" for $6. seems expensive, if i need 30 feet, its $180 plus gst. should i just order off ebay? is there a quality difference you think?

the guy said he would put a protective white film on the vinyl, so when i squeegy it on, i wont wreck the vinyl.

any suggestions? ebay for $50 or shop for $150-$180? Canadian prices.

personally if my car was black, I'd go with a dark red. I don't know where u live but if u can find a weekend flea market, sometimes there will be a guy doing vinyl work. Or, even better, go to a sign company who does trucks. They will have a computer and u can sit down and do exactly what u want. They are expensive though.

JD-- go to Ebay motors and look up the Ebay store called "Baltimore Street Mods"

That's the one MD ordered from as well.

And back to the topic at hand,

I have the silver 9" stripes for my black 2000 and will be putting them on when the weather gets warm. You could do silver on black or red would like tight as well. I thought about doing red.

I`m thinking about doing red on my black vert as well. It looks really good on the new `stang that`s in all the magazine ads.

either look good, silver or white, or if u have all black interior too u could do like the old school novas and do a fat red racing stripe, idk how that would look.  but i would go with the two white 9" stripes like rockthepony, i like his
